Location: Coeur d’Alene, ID (On-site/Hybrid)
Employment Type: Part-Time: 32 hrs a week with ability to grow
Salary Range: $30-$40+/hr based on experience

We’re looking for a talented Project Manager/Interior Design Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:
As our Project Manager/Interior Design Assistant, you will oversee the execution of interior design projects from concept to completion. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while fostering strong client relationships and assisting the lead designer on each project. By nature, there are a lot of hats to wear in a creative studio, but the key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage interior design projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and goals.

  • Shows initiative in taking the lead and being a team partner in all phases of the design process. 

  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

  • Coordinate and oversee all phases of the design process, including concept development, material selection, and furniture procurement.

  • Liaise with architects, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications.

  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and progress reports.

  • Good knowledge of what is included in drawing sets and design packages in all phases of design.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technology to ensure innovative solutions.

  • Place and track material and furniture orders.

  • Organize and help facilitate install days.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Interior Design, or a related field.

  • 4 years of experience project management with a preference in interior design management.

  • Proficiency in design software such as HomeDesigner or AutoCAD preferred.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively.

  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes is a plus.
